At a recent visit to Costco, I was happy to find frozen oxtail, which I hadn’t seen in a while (or hadn’t been looking in the right place).

By sheer coincidence, the last time that I made ggoritang was exactly 6 years + 1 day ago, in Manila, just prior to the lockdown (see generally 10.240 The Ggori Story, Part 1: Suyuk).

I recall fondly that I’d made a batch for W upon her return from the hospital after IZ was born (see 3.111 Ggori Tang (recipe)).
