Reasonably satisfied with the brand’s mapa dubu sauces (see generally 16.255 Taste Test: Chao Chai Mapa Dubu), I tried the 130 Jikhwa Gan Jjajang sauce this time.

Despite specific measurements of ingredients listed in the instructions on the packaging, I just eyeballed everything.

Apparently, I didn’t use enough, because the sauce turned out unbearably salty.  But, it tasted pretty close to the real deal.
