As predicted (see 17.067 Haemul Jjambbong), this restaurant will be frequently featured, hopefully only into the near future, as I continue to receive treatment at the spine hospital down the street.  Today, upon the recommendation of the doctor, I agreed to undergo a procedure to remove bone spurs (so that’s a real thing!) that have developed on my vertebrae and pinch on my nerves; the procedure will be performed on April 16.

The japtang bap started out okay.  The seafood and veg were fresh and flavorful.  The sauce was nicely balanced.  But the starch broke towards the end and left a greasy puddle at the bottom of the bowl.  And the steamed rice under the top layer turned out to be old and dried out.  Didn’t finish.
