Another daily special from Well-Being Mart (see previously 17.181 Grilled Daepae Samgyeop + Pyogo).
DID YOU KNOW: Geun (근) is a traditional Korean unit of weight. For some reason (or perhaps no reason), the unit is equivalent to 600 grams for meat, but 400 grams for fruit, and 375 grams for vegetables, or 200 grams for other vegetables. Although the government has outlawed the application of traditional measurements in commercial/legal contexts, people still use certain ones, even if informally (the most common is pyeong (평) in real estate, about 3.3 square meters).
It was fine. Out of laziness, I dumped everything into the pan at once (including some asparagus, also a daily special), which took forever to come to temperature, rendering the marinade into a broth, like a hotpot.
