My new car: Land Rover Defender 110.
Purchasing my Land Rover Discovery in (see generally 2.140 Tonkotsu Ramen with Chashu), I’d intended to drive the Discovery for as long as it would let me, first in Korea, then the Philippines, and back in Korea again. But on the way back from the cabin a few weeks ago (see generally 17.222 Boss Bibimbap), the suspension gave out, which I took it as a sign of the end. An amazing 15-year run. I loved this car more than any single item in my life.
(I still might get it fixed and keep it as a back-up vehicle. Maybe DJ could drive it during breaks.)
The day before leaving for the States, I went to the dealer and signed the paperwork within an hour. It arrived last night, the day after I got back.
Let’s see if it’ll last 15 years.
