at Costco (WHERE)
-Yangjae, Seocho, Seoul, Korea-
A combination pizza is a perfect example of the American tendency to overdo it, so far beyond the basic form that it probably no longer really qualifies as Italian, even though the individual toppings are more-or-less Italian.
If the pizza at Costco isn’t the best American-style pizza in Korea, then at least it’s the most authentic. Whenever I buy it for my students, they all think that it’s too salty, too tomatoey, too cheesy, too big – exactly as it should be.
