On the basic jjajang myeon, a common variation is gan (간) (“dry”), which comes with less sauce, lots of onion chunks.

While waiting for W to finish shopping at the newly opened Times Square Mall, the two men grabbed a quick bite at this restaurant across the street, which had long lines to pique my curiosity, but didn’t deliver the goods.
