Bok is blowfish aka pufferfish.
Stew is a popular method of preparing blowfish in Korea. The lighter jiritang is better suited to allow the delicate flavors of blowfish to come through.
Geumsu Bokguk is a Korean restaurant. Specializes in blowfish, particularly stews, also as sashimi and other methods of preparation. Located in Sinsa, it’s the place with the gigantic blowfish on the storefront.
