Doenjang Jjigae

While I had pledged (and ultimately failed) to post 365 “unique” dishes during Cycle 2, I’m appreciating the freedom in Cycle 3, just 11 meals into it, of allowing myself to eat whatever’s on the table without worrying about whether it’s a repeat of a prior dish or whether I should “save it” for the future.  On so many occasions during Cycle 2, I would’ve been thoroughly satisfied with a bowl of simple doenjang jjigae but abstained and went instead for something ostensibly “different” just for the sake of difference.   What a relief.
