Deep-Fried Wings in Obaltan Dressing

At Obaltan, where we had dinner yesterday, the offal is marinated in a delectable sweet-sour soy-based dressing flecked with mild red chilies.  Upon request, they’ll provide more on the side as a dipping sauce.  After dinner, I’d taken some home in a take-out container, not knowing at the time what for.  Tonight, I deep-fried chicken wings and, on a whim, tossed them with the dressing.  Not bad, sort of like sweet & sour chicken.
