It started off as a kind of gungjung ddeokbokki, with bulgogi as the main flavor component. The rice cakes came in shapes that kids like, such as stars, hearts, four-leaf clovers, styrofoam peanuts, rather than the typical cylinders. I added glass noodles and corn, which still works on DJ, but not so much IZ. So long as one of them was happy, the dish was a success.
