Banana Leaf is a Pan-Asian restaurant chain. The menu offers a hodgepodge of dishes from a variety of cuisines, including Malaysian, Singaporean, Cantonese, Thai, and Korean.
The “noble leaves” were awesome. A quick internet search didn’t return any information on what they are exactly. They reminded me in taste, sweet and grassy, of the pea shoots that I used to get in Chinese restaurants back in the States but lighter in color and significantly crisper/firmer in texture. I’m so coming back for more of these, maybe with nothing more than steamed rice.
