Surveying all the Korean eateries, including those serving Korean-Chinese fare, located in the neighborhoods of Ermita and Malate, nearby work and home. Minimum of 1 dish per place. Currently 45 establishments. Though anticipating that most of the places will be mediocre, I look forward to exploring more of my environment.
Kim n’ Chi is a Korean-style food court stall.
The bibimbab was crap. The main problem was that the components had all been sautéed in oil, rather than parboiled in water then lightly dressed in oil, making everything rather greasy. And the beef consisted of big chunks of tough meat, way too sweet, totally unpalatable. No quite sure if I’d had any expectations going in, but I was disappointed nevertheless.
