Tried 5 new items tonight, bringing the total to 157 items tasted thus far, 65 items remaining, averaging 5.8 items per visit, on pace to finish at TEITY 38.
The highlight of the meal was the Steamed Fish Fillet with Black Mushroom. Bite-size pieces of cream dory with sliced shiitake mushrooms and kailan covered in a simple gravy, classically Cantonese. Ordinarily includes sliced ham, but it’s way too salty, much better without. In lieu of the fish, the dish is also offered with “imported abalone” or “unicorn-style chicken.” Good for when something light is in order.
