The Prodigal Son Returns for His Cousin’s Wedding, Day 1.

My cousin TW is getting married tomorrow.

The evening before, a quiet dinner at home with the family.

Babyback ribs.  Marinated in a sauce mixed from bottled tonkatsu sauce + worcestershire sauce + ketchup + apple jam + garlic + black pepper.  Baked then broiled.   Though I did impress myself somewhat with the ability to improvise a BBQ sauce, I wasn’t all that happy with the outcome, the ribs not entirely cooked to fall-off-the-bone, the sauce not punchy enough.  But the kids loved, which is what counts.
