Ggongchi-Kimchi Jjigae with Poached Eggs

New Year with the Family, Day 7 (see previously 6.360 Lobster, Maybe).
The first 10 days of my winter holiday in Seoul (see most recently 6.354 Christmas Special Dinner), the remaining 7 days here in Manila — now over. The wife and kids flew back this morning.
Per protocol, a kimchi dish for comfort at the end of an arduous journey (see most recently 6.338 Kimchi Fried Rice).
Incidentally, I tried poaching eggs on the surface during the final minutes of cooking. Kinda worked.
