Pan-Grilled Chicken Tenderloins with Casarecce in Tomato-Parmesan Sauce

These days, casarecce is my favorite short form of dried pasta (see most recently 6..258 Pan-Seared Scallops…).  Like a collapsed tube twisted in on itself — the term literally means “home (casa) made (recce)” to suggest its rustic/random quality — the multiple layers provide textural contrast in every bite and pick up a lot of sauce in those layers.
