The main dish was a Japanese-style curry (see for example 6.167 Curry with Cobbler…), turned out okay, except for the last-minute addition of heavy cream.

My latest addition to my bag of culinary techniques: red cabbage, finely shredded and tossed in with any salad, providing bittersweet flavor contrast while, more importantly, making the whole thing look legit.
