Mission to India, Day 3 (see previously 7.307 Panpuri).
In New Delhi. Arrived yesterday. Here to attend the 7th Conference of the Parties (COP7) to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control — the most important tobacco meeting in the world, held every other year, last time in Moscow (COP6) (see most recently 5.285 Red Mullet Fillets …) — Monday thru Saturday.
Unfortunately, the venue and our accommodations are out in the middle of nowhere — literally, and I mean “literally” in the literal sense — with no readily available transportation to anywhere somewhere.
Fortunately, the hotel’s room service menu offers an array of local options, which should tide me over for at least a few days.
