HS and Family’s Visit, Day 2 (see previously 8.025 Gising Gising).

Earlier, we took a daytrip to Tagaytay Highlands.
Back to BGC in time for dinner.
Blackbeard’s Seafood Island is a Filipino restaurant chain. Specializes in grilled/steamed/boiled seafood, as well as pork and chicken, plus all the classics – I’ve never been to a Filipino restaurant that didn’t offer grilled/steamed/boiled seafood, as well as pork and chicken, plus all the classics. Currently 31 branches across the country.

The Mt Apo set included: balbakwa, clams sa buko, steamed crabs, steamed shrimps, grilled squid, grilled pork belly, chicken inasal, fried tilapia, law-uy, kinilaw na tanguigue, ensaladang lato, garlic rice with crispy dilis.
As evidenced by the mostly cleared spread, my guests seemed to enjoy the food, and that’s what counts.
