Our driver Paul’s birthday.  His favorite food is Japanese, so we treated him to dinner at what is reputed to be the best Japanese restaurant in BGC.

I vowed tonight never to come back.  The service was excruciatingly slow, the first measly appetizer taking 40 minutes to arrive.  I would’ve just walked out, but I couldn’t break up the birthday celebration – although I probably ruined the evening anyway by griping the entire time.
