Spring Break in Singapore, Day 1.
Here for the week. Objectives: Universal Studios + food. Our second family trip to Singapore (see most recently 8.099 Black Pepper Crab).
Singapore Seafood Republic is a Singaporean restaurant. Established in 2008 by 4 restaurant brands, including Jumbo Seafood (see 8.089 Deep-Fried Mini Buns), now with 4 locations: 3 in Japan, 1 in Singapore.
Located on Sentosa Island within the Resort World compound, just a few minutes walk from our hotel, it was the ideal venue for our first dinner in town.
The food was excellent.
Singapore remains my favorite food city in Asia, probably the world.
