Mission to Fiji, Day 1.

On my way to Suva.  Attending a series of planning sessions – Monday to Thursday – in preparation for the Fifth Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentarian Forum on Global Health, which will be held in Fiji in August 2019.  This is the second such mission in advance of the Fifth Meeting (see previously 9.286 Kokonda with Grilled Prawns).

Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Terminal 3) – Cathay Pacific Lounge

Immaculate facilities.

More important, the lounge offers a made-to-order noodle bar, like in Hong Kong.

As always, I am grateful for and respectful of the opportunity to travel, especially via business class (see BEST IN FLIGHT), including lounge access (see in BEST IN LOUNGE).  Any comments here, even the negative ones, are simply relative to other business class experiences, just for fun, not complaints per se.

Hong Kong International Airport – Club Autus Lounge

The itinerary took me through Hong Kong International Airport, where I had to spend 7 hours in the Club Autus Lounge – not bad.

Following the layover, once on board Fiji Airways, the food was perfectly acceptable and perfectly meh, in line with prior experiences.
