Masala Papad

Haven’t been to Everest, which has always been my favorite Indian/Nepali restaurant, in nearly 9 years.
So relieved to see that it’s still around. And doing well: the place was humming the entire duration of our meal.
Masala Papad is an Indian dish. Described on the menu as: “lentil crackers with onion, tomatoes and vegetable spicy toppings.”

It was pretty good. Typically served as an appetizer, we ordered it at the end of the meal, a light anju to munch on while we kept drinking. Papad, plus peas and peanuts, with just enough aromatics and masala seasonings to keep it interesting without leaving everything soggy/messy.
Overall, the food was great.
That’s why the business continues to thrive.
