Ggaetnip Jangajji is a Korean dish.  Perilla leafs (ggaetnip), pickled in soy sauce with garlic and other seasonings (jangajji). Served as a banchan with steamed rice.

One of those banchan that stands on its own, no need for anything else, not even kimchi.

My Aunt T, who runs a farm and sells various food items (see also 3.255 Gochu Jangajji), gave us a few jars of the new batch.

Even better with grilled meats, especially fatty cuts, like chadolbagi.

Perfection.
