I woke up this morning with body aches, abdominal pains, and a slight fever (36.8). Probably food poisoning, probably the oysters from the night before. Just in case, I got tested for Covid-19 and self-isolated for the day. The test would later return negative.

Ul Myeon is a Korean-Chinese dish. The same thing as udong, with corn starch added to the broth, making it thick, almost like a gravy.
Before tonight, I’ve had ul myeon maybe thrice in my life, never in GMTD history. Nothing against it, just not in the mood.
Feeling somewhat better by dinnertime, still a bit queasy. W’s plan was to make me rice porridge and order Chinese for herself and the boys. Suddenly, I was in the mood for the hot goopiness of ul myeon.
