Spa session for Louis Le Pieux = ice-cold beer for me.

Whereas chikin (치킨) is Korean-style fried chicken, sunsal is a variation involving chunks of boneless chicken.  The term means “pure (sun) meat (sal).”

Temperatures these days hit around 20 degrees in the afternoon, perfect for outdoor seating, especially when slightly overcast (Koreans don’t like sun).

Not as tasty as the standard version, but easier to eat.

Served with fries + salad (shredded cabbage + ketchup + mayo) + chikin yangnyeom (sauce).
