In appearance, the chicken was vaguely reminiscent of the rotisserie chicken quarters from Costco (see most recently 4.157 Rotisserie Chicken Quarters), but fell far short in taste (odd “barbecue” seasoning) and texture (weirdly stringy).

As the relative size of the beer can would suggest, the legs are enormous, definitely not Korean birds.

I haven’t been to Costco in over 8 years, not since before I’d left Korea for the Philippines in 2014.  Since our return to Korea in 2020, I’ve felt no compulsion to make a trip to Costco, even though it used to be my favorite source for groceries, especially “foreign” items – largely because local stores are better stocked these days with imported goods.
