The Tuna Melt is an American dish.  A variation on the standard tuna (fish) (salad) sandwich, it includes melted cheese.

Topped with processed “mozzarella cheese” then placed under the broiler for 2 minutes.

Not a big fan, as I think that it’s kinda weird to add a warm element to a cold mayo-based salad.  Also think that the cheese is overkill, given the inherent richness of all that mayo.
