Oneuleun Jjambbong is a Korean-Chinese restaurant. The names means “today is (오늘은) jjambbong” – i.e., “today is the day for jjambbong. Otherwise,

During our visit, every table comprised a family, mostly with young children, everyone eating tangsu yuk and jjajang myeon and/or fried rice – not a single jjambbong in sight.
Without a standard seafood version, I went with the basic jjambbong, the restaurant’s eponymous dish.
The jjambbong is graded below, based on GMTD’s 4-point scale, applied to the dish’s 3 primary components. The final score is the average of the 3 subscores.
BROTH. Bland and mild. Score: 2.0
NOODLES. Standard. Cooked to al dente. Score: 3.25
TOPPINGS. Strips of pork – dry. Strips of napa cabbage, onions, zucchini – mushy. Score: 1.5
CONCLUSION. Not terrible but utterly forgettable. Final: 2.25

First and (very likely) only visit.
