The Winter Concert was held at SIS this evening, where DJ played first chair cello.
As always, given a choice of what to eat for dinner afterwards, DJ chose Japanese.

Written on the menu in English as “Crabmeat Cheese Egg Rolls,” the dish is a Korean-Japanese fusion omelet: Korean in structure (filled with artificial crab and cheese in the middle), Japanese in flavor (topped mayo + okonomiyaki sauce + katsuobushi). Traditional Japanese omelets tend to be simpler in composition (see for example 14.320 Tamago).

It was okay, though I found it overly busy.
