Sima Sushi is a Japanese restaurant. Specializes in sushi, delivered via conveyor belt. Part of a chain (apparently, not a franchise), founded in 2013, currently 25 locations, mostly in department stores and malls.

Spent the afternoon shopping – in Korea, Christmas Day is the busiest shopping day of the year, as parents are wont to take their kids to the store and buy them what they want (opening gifts under the Christmas tree isn’t really a thing here) – and ended up eating dinner in the mall.
In any Korean-Japanese restaurant, the best value and most reliable dish is always hoe deop bap (11.247 Hoe Deopbab). As a bonus, it’s also likely to be the healthiest item on the menu, loaded with fresh veg.

Especially at a conveyor belt sushi place, where prices can quickly spiral out of control, I often start with hoe deop bap as a base, then have a few sushi plates à la carte, just to fill in the gaps.
