Pork Stew

Totally improvised, starting with pork ribs, pan-seared then simmered in tomatoes + wine + beef stock until fall-off-the-bone tender, along with casarecce + potatoes + carrots + white beans + cabbage.

It was excellent.  An instant family favorite.

Though no specific recipe was followed, I was generally inspired by watching various Italian-American stews featured on Sip & Feast (see for example Italian Beef Stew – My Favorite Winter Comfort Meal).
