Han Sunja Son Kal Guksu Jip is a Korean restaurant.  Offers 4 dishes: bimbimbap, mul naeng myeon, bibim naeng myeon, and kal guksu.  At least 50 years old (according to the signage, which itself looks at least 10 years old), a landmark of sorts.

Located directly across from the optometry store.

While waiting for our new glasses, we dropped by for a snack.

For a place with such limited options, this menu is way too complicated.

I’ve passed by the place for decades, but never tried it – no particular reason – until today.

The entrance, which is also the kitchen – can’t believe that it’s so messy.
The dining area in the back.

Any individual item is priced at 7,000 won, while a set of 3 items goes for 9,000 won.

We ordered a kal guksu set (1 regular bowl of kal guksu + 1 smaller bowl of bori bibimbap + 1 smaller bowl of mul naeng myeon), and a mul naeng myeon set (1 regular bowl of mul naeng myeon + 1 smaller bowl of bori bibimbap + 1 smaller bowl of kal guksu).

Kal Guksu (regular size) (2.0): nice texture to the hand-cut noodles, but the broth was bland, tasting only of the shredded laver.

Meh.  Perhaps a landmark by longevity but not quality.
