“Crab” & Corn Soup

Having improvised a respectable crab and corn soup with leftover bits of steamed crab (see generally 15.254 Steamed Crabs), I was eager to improve upon that first effort. Unfortunately, crab meat is not readily available in Korean supermarkets, as far as I’m aware (maybe in the frozen seafood section?), at least not without buying a whole crab, so I had the idea of substituting with imitation crab, which is sold everywhere, including convenience stores (see generally 15.026 Taste Test: Krab Sticks).
It worked.
