To give IZ more purpose in life, beyond melting his brain in front of a screen, I assigned him the task of cooking dinner.  Already adept at making steamed rice and fried eggs (his own at-home, quick-fix, go-to meal: rice + eggs + soy sauce + sesame oil), he learned this time how to thaw frozen sausages and fry them (should’ve instructed him to slice them first) and cut kimchi.  It was a solid meal.
