Special [clockwise from top left]: engawa (fluke belly) (1) + hirame (fluke) (3) + sake (salmon) (2) + unagi (eel) + mekajiki aburi (swordfish – torched) + otoro (fatty tuna) (2) + amaebi aburi (sweet shrimp – torched) + akami (tuna) – great value at 23,000 won.The menu offers 3 sushi combo sets, each with 12 pieces in different composition: Special (23,000 won), Jinmi (19,000 won), and Royal (16,000 won). “Special” sounds the least impressive.
Cheongha: an old school Korean rice wine, tastes like mild sake.
The food was solid. Pristinely fresh and tasty fish, good selection. Tangy rice. To make it a full meal, the set also came with salad + chawanmushi + korokke + udon.
Definitely coming back for more.
Jinmi [clockwise from top left]: engawa (fluke belly) (1) + hirame (fluke) (3) + sake (salmon) (2) + tako wasabi (octopus in wasabi marinade) + beef + unagi (eel) + mekajiki aburi (swordfish – torched) + amaebi aburi (sweet shrimp) + akami (tuna) – even better value at 19,000 won.
