Third day in a row with the bread (see previously 16.247 BLT(CHP)).

Unfortunately, the chewy-on-the-outside, squishy-on-the-inside magic had dissipated after the 2nd day, now barely chewy, barely squishy, somewhat stale.

Fortunately, toasting in the pan revived the texture somewhat.

This is good news, meaning that the bread is intended to be enjoyed while fresh, not pumped full of preservatives.
