Back in Cycle 5, this dish was featured in its original form (i.e., with Hanwoo) at the original location (i.e., in Nonhyeon) (see generally 5.293 Beoseot Jeongol), which has since expanded to a national chain with over 20 locations.

After shopping for IZ’s all-black outfit to be worn at his upcoming winter concert (he’s 5th chair cello in the middle school strings ensemble), we had dinner in the mall.

Started with 90,000 worth (2 portions) of grilled meat.

We finished off the meal with noodles, but with the cheaper beef: Australian = 26,000 per serving vs Hanwoo = 31,000 per serving.

It was fine, though falling way short of the real deal, not just the beef but everything about it just felt inferior.
