The tenants who had been leasing our Oksu apartment since 2021 (see previously 12.037 Chaeggeut Deungsim) vacated today.

Dropped by after work to take a look.

The wall on the left will be torn down to convert the bedroom into the kitchen.

Currently in discussions with the design agency to finalize the renovation plans, work will commence in a few weeks.

Hopefully, it’ll be ready by May.

What used to be the dining room and kitchen – where I cooked for the last time 11.5 years ago (see generally 5.216 Lobster Two Ways) – will be converted into my bedroom.

I intend this to be the home that I die in.
