While my primary purpose in traveling to Pyeongtaek a couple weeks back was to see JW and the guys from Humphreys (see generally 17.096 Oven Baked Spareribs 3 Ways: Salt + Seasoning + Texas), and I would’ve gone no matter what, a bonus incentive was to retrieve 2 packs of Oscar Mayer Bologna that JW had scored for me from the commissary – I must’ve mentioned my disappointment in failing to find the stuff on my own little shopping trip (see generally 17.054 Beef & Broccoli).

Rather than a straightforward “Made with Chicken, Pork & Beef,” the dangling phrase “…& Beef Added” is suspicious (see for comparison 4.044 Baloney Sandwich).
Maybe the dark flecks are added beef.

Still one of my Top Five Sandwiches of All-Time, though I’m beginning to wonder whether I’ve started to outgrow it.
