Bangin Taco is a Tex-Mex restaurant.  Offers all the standards, as well as Baja Fish Tacos.  Originally started in Jeju, now with locations in Apgujeong and Seongsu.

Located 342 m from the office.
Usually a waitlist at peak lunch hour, but largely empty at 12:45.

The tacos were good.  All 3 basic criteria were met: 1) homemade hot sauce (not Tabasco), 2) grilled tortillas, 3) piles of free cilantro.  The fish sticks were nicely crisp.  Toppings spot on.  Perhaps the best taco that I’ve had in Korea, at least in recent memory – way way better than the fish taco at Taco Square next door (see generally 17.037 Fish + Shrimp Tacos).

In addition to the quality of the taco – appropriately billed as “Baja Fish Taco” – the name of the place – a pun on the name of the chef Bang but pronounced “Bangin,’” like the English slang term – leads me to suspect that the owner hails from the States, possibly Southern California.
