Chicken McNuggets are a McDonald’s product. Introduced in 1983. Ingredients include: white boneless chicken, water, salt, yeast extract, wheat starch, natural flavoring, safflower oil, lemon juice solids, dextrose, citric acid, sodium phosphates, bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), yellow corn flour, baking soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate, calcium lactate, spices, wheat starch, dextrose, corn starch – prompting a judge to refer to them as a “McFrankenstein” creation during an obesity lawsuit.

But really, we got the Happy Meals to get the toys of Shrek and Donkey. In marketing parlance, this is called a “tie-in promotion.”
