Mom’s Salsa Beef
-Oksu, Seongdong, Seoul, Korea-

Salsa beef is a Mexican(ish) dish. Beef chunks and green beans stewed in salsa from a jar, served with steamed flour tortillas, like fajitas. One of the first dishes that I learned to cook from my mom – never bothered to ask where she got it from, no idea whether it’s even vaguely Mexican. Super easy, super tasty. Fun for sharing. The next morning, leftovers may be combined with scrambled eggs for awesome breakfast burritos.
