I decline to speculate  as to whether “jambalaya chicken” exists within the creole culinary tradition and whether this bird baked in various spices would qualify.

E-Mart Marketing Executive 1: “What should we call it?”

E-Mart Marketing Executive 2: “How about ‘jambalaya chicken’?”

E-Mart Marketing Executive 1: “Is that an actual thing?”

E-Mart Marketing Executive 2: “Maybe?”

E-Mart Marketing Executive 1: “Okay then.”

Closing at midnight, E-Mart starts to mark down food items after 10 PM, “fresh” items that don’t carry well into the following day, including sushi, tempura, pizza, and chicken.  I am often tempted by price at this hour – 5,586 won for a whole chicken! – even though I know that I won’t ultimately like what I am buying.
