Orange Tangsu Chicken is a Korean-Chinese dish, kinda. Essentially sweet & sour sauce (i.e., “tangsu”), with deep-fried pieces of chicken and a few orange slices. An adaption of sweet & sour pork, but not an item that would be found on standard menus.
What a joke. Sounds like Chinese-American “orange chicken” in description, but turned out to be nothing like it in appearance and taste. The deep-fried chicken was spongy, unseasoned. The glaze was bland. Ugh.
