TEITY (see Try Every Item at Tao Yuan) (Visit 28) (Items 158-163).  Eating my way through the restaurant’s entire menu: all 222 items.

Tried 6 new items tonight, bringing the total to 163 items tasted thus far, 59 items remaining, averaging 5.8 items per visit, on pace to finish at TEITY 38.

Century Egg Asado Tart (1.5) + Crispy Barbecued Pork Pie (2.0)
Braised Sliced Abalone with Fish Maw (2.5)
Fishball with Pumpkin and Taro in Coconut Milk (3.0): not the biggest fan of fishball, nor pumpkin, nor taro, nor coconut milk, but I kinda liked how they all got along in this dish.
Fried Crispy Pigeon (2.0)

Not sure if Mango Lapu Lapu is a Singaporean dish, or Filipino.

I generally don’t like fruit, particularly as an ingredient, but the combination here of the yellow (sweet) and green (sour) mango, enhanced by the sweet and sour chili sauce, plus the soft (yellow) and crunchy (green) texture contrast, worked quite well.

The only drawback was the poorly deep-fried fish.

This could work better with prawns.
