A new dish, sort of. Started out making soup (see recipe 7.054 Miyeok Guk…, then realized just before adding the stock that I didn’t have any stock on hand. Curious, I tasted a piece of the kelp (miyeok) in its stir-fried form (bokkeum) and discovered it to be quite nice as is. Which isn’t surprising, really — sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic — how bad could it be? Perfectly respectable side dish.
