Deep-Fried Oolong Tea-Smoked Chicken

One of the top two chicken dishes that I’ve had in the Philippines (see also 5.150 Roasted Chicken…) — both among the best in the world — the difference being that this one came with sauce, much juicier as a result, though without the contrasting crispy texture.

Seafood, Tomato & Egg Soup (3.0)
Wok-Baked Prawns, Onion, Spring Onion, Scallion (2.0) : within minutes of posting my new resolution never to eat shrimp with shells (see 7.031 Chili Shrimp), I ended up with this — had no way of knowing by the name of the dish that the prawns would come whole.
Though I did peel and eat, didn’t really like it : too much basil, too much ginger, too much chili.
