Filipinos love deep-fried minced garlic as garniture.  Both in the context of traditional Filipino cuisine and foreign cuisines historically mainstreamed into Filipino culture, like Chinese and Spanish.

Personally, I don’t like it.  Not only is it bitter, but the bits develop a tacky texture and get stuck between the teeth.  Ick.
